Hi lovely shopper! I’m Tash, and I’m the hands behind your newest pair of earrings.
I started making polymer clay earrings for my friends and family back in 2019, determined to gift them with a unique, handmade item they would love. What I didn’t realise was how much I would love making those earrings! I got such a kick out of creating something with my own two hands, little colourful shiny treasures that I could actually carry around with me, on my ears, for the whole world to see!
It wasn’t until a huge change in lifestyle (quit my office job, moved countries on a whim) that I thought seriously about creating something that was my own business. It seemed ludicrous at first, but after lots of deep breathing and serious encouragement from my sister, Francklie was born!
Francklie (a portmanteau of my cats’ names 💁🏽♀️) is all about celebrating colour and finding joy in the little things. It’s jewellery that doesn’t take itself too seriously. In a world full of big, serious things, something small like a pair of earrings can brighten up your day. At least that’s what I hope my earrings will do for you.
I make my earrings in my small studio just outside of Queenstown, New Zealand. Big colourful earrings are my jam, so that’s mostly what you will find here, but there’s a size for everyone. They are made with a mix of polymer clay and resin, and I only use hypoallergenic findings such as stainless steel. Things I love and am inspired by are the stars in our universe, the shapes of the seaside, the cool vibes of the 60s, and literally anything pink 💗
